Global gestures

Purpose

These controls work regardless of which view is active: picking the sequencer and view, the LaunchControl XL modifier buttons that change what grid presses do, sequencer-level mute/autodrop cues, and octave shifts.

Interaction

Each player has two Launchpads (LHS = steps/overview, RHS = steps/editor) and one LaunchControl XL. Sequencer selectors select the sequencer; View selectors select the view for that sequencer. The LC’s six right-column buttons (SHIFT, MUTE, SOLO, REC ARM, 8A, 8B) are modifiers: they are held while pressing a pad, and the combination decides the action. The LC top/bottom button rows manage sequencer mutes and autodrops; the bottom row doubles as octave control under modifiers.

Shortcuts

Press a view button (rows 1–8) View selectors Select that single view for the active sequencer. none
