Chord Progression
Purpose
Sequence which chord plays on each bar of the 16-bar cycle, with an optional per-bar inversion. Global. Every chord-following sequencer reads the same progression.
Interaction
16 columns (LHS LP = bars 0–7, RHS = bars 8–15) × 8 rows (chord degrees, top = 8 … bottom = 1). The lit cell per column is that bar’s chord; its colour is the inversion (white = root, mustard = third, red = fifth, blue = random inversion, green = random status). The current bar is highlighted magenta. Both players edit the same shared arrays.
Shortcuts
| Gesture | Where | Action | Modifiers |

| Press a new cell | LP grid | Set that bar’s chord to the pressed row | none |
| Press the lit cell again | LP grid | Cycle inversion: white → mustard → red → blue → green → white | none |
| SHIFT + MUTE + press row R | LP grid | Reset: all 16 bars → chord degree (R − 1) | shift+mute |
| SHIFT + MUTE + press | Row mutes | Reset: all 16 bars → degree 0 (root) | shift+mute |
| SHIFT + SOLO + press | LP grid | Randomise: each bar → uniform random degree 0–6 | shift+solo |
