CC Slew
Purpose
Interpolate outgoing CC values between successive arp steps so filter sweeps glide instead of stepping. Each sequencer has one slew state: off, manual time-constant 1–8 (20 ms – 2 s), or auto (tracks one sequencer step at the live BPM and clock division).
Interaction
One column per sequencer (LHS = sequencers 1–8, RHS = sequencers 9–16), but only the sequencers that carry CC arps get a column: 2, 3 and 6 on the LHS, 9, 11 and 12 on the RHS (RHS columns 1, 3 and 4). Every other column renders dark and ignores presses. Column display: off = row 1 slate grey only; manual level N = rows 1..N lit in the sequencer’s colour; auto = row 1 lit plus row 8 purple. Both players share the surface.
Shortcuts
| Gesture | Where | Action | Modifiers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Press row N (2–7) | LP grid | Set manual slew level N (no-op if already N) | none |
| Press row 1 | LP grid | Off → level 1; level 1 → off; any other state → level 1 | none |
| Press row 8 | LP grid | Off/levels 1–7 → level 8; level 8 → auto; auto → level 8 | none |
| SHIFT + MUTE + press (any row) | LP grid | Column reset: slew off (tau → 0) | shift+mute |
| Press a column with no CC arps | LP grid | Ignored | none |
There is no single always-off cell: to turn off without SHIFT + MUTE, press row 1 (lands at level 1), then row 1 again (off).
